Coastal Design Review

Write for us

We welcome pitches that help readers see coastal design more clearly: a precise question, a useful comparison or a well-framed account of how a design choice relates to its setting. We value fresh angles over sweeping claims about what all coastal places should look like.

What to pitch

Propose a focused subject in architecture, materials, colour, objects or coastal landscapes. Explain the central idea, why it matters to a curious reader and what makes your approach distinct. A pitch should be useful without relying on unsupported claims, local rules or safety-critical instructions.

What makes a strong proposal

Keep the scope clear and the language direct. Show how the piece will help readers notice, compare, understand or plan. Tell us what information or visual material the idea depends on, and disclose any relevant commercial interests.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page, selecting the editorial question option and including a short outline. Please do not send a complete article unless it has been requested. A submitted pitch is not a promise of publication.
